MPRE Preparation
What is the MPRE?
The Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) is a two hour and five minute test consisting of 60 multiple choice questions (10 questions are not graded) administered by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE). The MPRE is offered three times a year in March, August and November. The MPRE tests the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct, as amended, along with the ABA Code of Judicial Conduct.
When should I take the MPRE?
Unlike the Bar Exam, law school graduation is not a prerequisite to sitting for the exam. We at LawTutors recommend that examinees wait until completing the professional responsibility course offered in law school. This ensures that the subject matter is fresh in your mind and that you have flexibility in between the MPRE and the Bar Exam for studying.
How does Lawtutors prepare me for the MPRE?
The LawTutors MPRE program incorporates what we consider to be our “in-house” recipe with what is commercially available. We take time to get to know your strengths and proclivities. Instead of just pointing them out to you, we do something with them. Our Attorney Instructors not only scored in the highest rankings nationally on the MPRE, but have an amazing knack for guiding students through the rules and helping apply them in a multiple choice format.
Your Attorney Instructor will tailor a calendar and study schedule specific to your needs. We strive to offer tutoring availability according to your class, work and home schedule. Your attorney instruction will help you understand the substance of the MPRE material, and in addition, take you through MPRE questions, such as “quizzes” and worksheets, as well as practice exams. They will go through the questions with you and assist you in determining why you got some answers right and others wrong.
